With Cinco de Mayo around the corner, party hosts are stocking up on tequila to mix up traditional margaritas. However while many are excited for Cinco de Mayo soirees, not everyone is a tequila fan.

For those looking to get into the Cinco de Mayo spirit sans tequila, Van Gogh Blue Vodka and Ron Abuelo Añejo rum offer their margarita-inspired cocktails - the Van Gogh ’rita and the Abuelorita - to shake things up this May 5th:

Abuelorita

2 oz Ron Abuelo Añejo
1 oz triple sec
1/2 oz freshly squeezed lime juice

In a shaker filled with ice add all ingredients and shake vigorously.
Strain into an ice filled rocks glass.
Garnish with lime wedge.
