Soon after the verdict acquitting George Zimmerman case was read, the American Family Association’s vehemently anti-gay radio host Bryan Fischer, who never shies way from spewing his rhetoric on Twitter, somehow linked the verdict in the Trayvon Martin case to the Supreme Court’s rulings on the Defense of Marriage Act and Proposition 8.

As Good As You reports, Fischer, who hosts a radio show for the AFA, took to his Twitter account to write, "For example of injustice, don’t look at Zimmerman. Look at what Supreme Court did on DOMA, Prop 8. There’s your travesty"

Eager to pin the SCOTUS marriage decision on more of the nation’s woes, on Monday afternoon, Fischer also commented recent decisions by the Boy Scouts leadership involving the Jamboree. The first involved the recent decision to allow for LGBT scouts, according to the Associated Press, officials put aside any further discussion on their decision to accept openly gay boys as Scouts.

The second concerns overweight scouts. In a related Associated Press story, it was reported: This year, 30,000 Scouts ages 12 to 20 and their leaders were required to meet a threshold for body mass index and other health factors before being allowed to participate. Jamboree applicants with a BMI - a measure of body fat determined through height and weight - of 40 or higher were deemed ineligible. Those who fell between 32 and 39.9 faced providing additional health information to Jamboree medical staff."

In other words, overweight scouts will not be allowed to attend the Jamboree, being billed as the most physically-challenged to date.

This led Fischer to write:

"The wonder of the Boy Scouts: gay Scouts in, fat Scouts out."

Let’s not pay attention to these publicity hounds with few followers -- we have better things to do

Does Bryan Fischer know he spells Bryan the gay way? He must be gay. Maybe that’s why he’s so in your face about it. Maybe he’s just trying to cover up his own satanical abomination. Ass.

Bryan Fischer is a pathological liar who uses fear and misuses the Bible to justify hate. To be honest, I do not believe he is truly a Christian, but he finds religion a convenient cover to justify opinions and statements that would otherwise be dismissed as demagoguery. It would be nice to ignore him, but the sad truth is that he is dangerous because of his rhetoric.
