Now You See Him... Now You Don't. David Geffen Deletes IG of Himself and Adult Performer

READ TIME: 3 MIN.

With a net worth of nearly 11 billion dollars, out media mogul David Geffen is one of the richest in Hollywood. Since coming out in 1993, the 79-year-old Geffen is often placed on the top of the most wealthy LGBTQ+ men in America.

And he recently had a very convivial holiday season, judging from a recent Instagram post (since deleted). In a photo that he posted he is seen in the back of a motorboat in an embrace with a hunk, with the words "Merry Christmas indeed!"

The deleted post from David Geffen

Why the post was deleted may have something to with the past of the hunk in the photo, who was identified as former Randy Blue gay porn star Brandon Foster. "The photo is now making the rounds on Twitter, with one user captioning the image, 'Me and my business associate Benji' (a nod to an iconic line delivered by Leslie Jordan as Beverly Leslie on 'Will & Grace')," writes Str8UpGayPorn.com.

Foster's actual name is Donovan Michaels, and he describes himself as a media personality based out of New York City. During his adult career, he appeared "in three scenes at Randy Blue in 2014 and 2015, first in a solo jerk off video and then as a powertop in two hardcore videos," writes Str8UpGayPorn. Randy Blue's website wrote at the time that Brandon Foster was a "straight hunk" and also a "straight stud".

Was it shame on Geffen's part that he deleted the image after word of Foster's adult past emerged? As Str8UpGayPorn writes, Geffen has a "rich history" with adult performers. "During the infamous Jarec Wentworth trial in 2015 – in which Wentworth was convicted of extorting a different multi-millionaire named Donald Burns – Str8Up exclusively reported that porn star Justin Matthews had a 'relationship' with David Geffen," the site recalls. During the trial, Matthews was initially hesitant to reveal having received gifts from Geffen because the mogul "very powerful" and Matthews " 'feared for his safety' by disclosing the pay-for-sex relationship," the site added. And while in prison, Wentworth later confirmed he had a "play for pay" relationship with Geffen. "David Geffen has the feds in his pocket. L.A. is his domain," Wentworth told the author of the site's article. "Geffen never contacts you personally. He has others relay the message, that way nothing ever comes back to him.

"This is Pandora's box, Zach. If anything leaks about Geffen's play, people disappear."
