Ex Gay Porn Actor, Vine Star Involved in Standoff Speaks Out

In an exclusive interview with NBC 29, former gay porn star and current Vine celeb Bryan Silva, who was involved in a standoff with police in Charlottesville, Va. earlier this month, spoke about the incident and the charges against him.

NBC 29 called the jailhouse interview "bizarre," saying Silva is pleading to be freed and that the standoff is "simply a big misunderstanding."

The news station reports Silva, 25, repeatedly said "free me" during the interview, noting he would not talk about what led up to the incident and what made him barricade himself in his home.

"This is a big mix up, a big confusion," Silva told NBC 29. "Free me. That's all I have to say."

The news station reports Silva is being held in solitary confinement and will have a preliminary hearing in February.

Police arrested Silva on Jan. 3 and charged him with abduction and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Silva was allegedly holding his 17-year-old girlfriend against her will, barricading himself inside his home. The girl told police he threatened her with a handgun.

Silva, who made gay porn under the name Max Payne, was already a convicted felon for destruction of property and marijuana possession. Silva rose to e-fame in 2014 when Vine videos of his terrible raps went viral. He is credited to popularizing the hashtag #Gratata (the sound a gun makes when fired) in the Vine clip below.
