Anthony J. Wilkinson the creator of the Off-Broadway hits "My Big Gay Italian Wedding" and "My Big Gay Italian Funeral" is officially opening the first trilogy in New York City Theater history: "My Big Gay Italian Midlife Crisis" December 3, 2015 at 8 p.m.

After three weeks of very full previews, Midlife Crisis will open Thursday at 8 p.m. to a sold out Anne L. Bernstein Theater with an after party to follow at Sardi's.

In the third chapter of the "Big Gay Italian" trilogy, Wilkinson's character (Anthony Pinnunziato) is approaching his 40s and is faced with the challenges of balancing his now very successful weight loss company with past and present gay relationships. Fun familiar characters and some new ones come together to join him on his journey in another outrageous comedy of errors. "The biggest thrill during previews is hearing some of our faithful audience members laughing out loud and telling me after the show it's the best one yet. I hope I'm getting better with age..." said Wilkinson.

"My Big Gay Italian Midlife Crisis" will feature Anthony J. Wilkinson (Anthony), Chris Davis (Andrew), Chad Kessler (Larry), Liz Gerecitano (Lucia), Brandon Haagenson (Nathaniel), Meagan Robar (Connie) and Debra Toscano (Toniann).

Presented by Bianco Productions, "My Big Gay Italian Mid Life Crisis" is directed by James Valletti. The Associate Director is Rachael Anne Evans, Emily DeSimone is the Costume Designer with wardrobe supervision by Jaclyn Pipolo. The new show continues under the General Management of 22Q Entertainment with Set and Prop design by Natalie Pecora, and Lighting Design by Jamie Roderick.
