Dubbed "Gay Porn's Neocon Kingpin" by the New Republic Magazine, Lucas, CEO/Founder of Lucas Entertainment, leads what is, allegedly, New York's largest gay adult film company.

The 43-year-old Russian-born Lucas gave an interview to the Montreal Gazette, published last week, in which he blasted Homeland Security's raid of Rentboy.com.

"It's infuriating that Homeland Security decided go after harmless sex workers instead of putting that time and money toward keeping us safe from terror attacks. I pay lots of money in taxes, and I hate seeing it funding pointless efforts to prevent people from choosing what to do with their bodies," Lucas told the Gazette.

In the interview, Lucas also reveals he has been on PrEP for more than two years. He defends PrEP in a cleverly worded op-ed piece for Out Magazine. In the piece, titled "PrEP Works, So Drop The Backlash," Lucas writes "I often wonder why there has been such a backlash against PrEP. I have come to the conclusion that many of the opponents lived through the horrific time when sex equaled death, and they cannot imagine people having sex without fear. They cannot conceive of gay men enjoying sex without being paranoid about contracting HIV."

Among Lucas' more acclaimed credits is the 2009 film, "Men of Israel," shot with an all-Israeli cast. He tells the Gazette he recently returned to Israel to film a documentary titled "Undressing Israel: Gay Men in the Promised Land."
